Meet Our New President

We are honored to announce that Jayme Rhoads, a Berks County Community Advocate, has been selected to serve a two-year term as our Board President, succeeding outgoing president Dr. Neil Hoffman.

Jayme is a dedicated community volunteer, who has served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations including the Reading Symphony Orchestra, Junior League of Reading, and is currently a Board member of the Berks Arts Council.

Her leadership experiences include former Development Director of the ReadingFilm FEST, committee Chair for Opportunity House, American Red Cross, Lancaster Country Day School, and a graduate of Leadership Berks.

“I am thrilled to be part of the WCR and honored to take on this new role as President. The WCR is not only a historic building with incredible acoustics, but it also has become a vital part of the Arts in Downtown Reading. I look forward to working with our dedicated Board members and community partners in continuing to positively impact the arts in Berks County.”

Welcome, Jayme!
